I want to capture pictures of moments that move you to tears. We aren't talking about surface level portraits, its' much more than that.
I want our time together to feel more like hanging with a friend. No pressure of getting the perfect angle or your kids behaving. In fact perfectly behaving kids is kind of boring!
Because after all, authentic photos are the most nostalgic + beautiful.
I am a feeler, a dreamer. I want to experience all of the small joys in life, and want to reflect that in my photos.
Tiny fingers and toes; a toddler holding mama's hand, a tender embrace, a beautiful sunset, the way the light hits your little ones's curls. Details that make you feel like you are back in that moment.

My process is collaborative. You will be choosing me for my eye, my vision + my art. However, families that I work with are going to each bring something different to our session. I want to get to know your family + truly represent you in the images we create.

A casual and laid-back session. 2 of the sweetest little pups joined us in documenting this new little life.
Paglias Pizza (an Iowa City classic), classic cokes, running around the park and flying kites. This activity-based family session was so fun. It really brought out childlike play and genuine family fun.
A super sweet morning with a family of 3, soon to be 4. We planned a tea party with mom + daughter, a living room dance party and bed snuggles (with fun polaroids).
