I am a mom of 3, living in my hometown of Iowa City, IA. I swore I would never move back home, but then as I grew up I appreciated more + more the importance of family.
Most days feel like chaos, but most also come with a grateful heart. I know one day I will miss all of this. I am trying to just savor it + soak it all in (probably just like you).

When I was growing up, one of my favorite things to dig out of the closet was my baby book. I was always mesmerized-how we looked (hairstyles, our house, etc) and how happy we looked.
Photographs are such an important part of your history - your family's history. I WOULD BE HONORED TO BE A PART OF YOURS.
I am a mom too. I understand that you may feel nervous that your shoot won't go perfectly. It probably won't-after all, no family is perfect. That's why my goal is for you to simply show up, let your guard down, and allow your family to shine through. The real magic of photos is not in a picture perfect or cookie cutter image but in capturing all of the raw, beautiful chaos of your unique family.
