Candid and in-the-moment. I want to get those small details and emotions (i.e. joy, love, protection are some of my faves). I won't be focusing on "say cheese" portraits, but instead all of the special moments developing between you and your people. My sessions involve prompts/ideas and some directing, but in an interactive way.

Fresh 48 sessions take place within the birthplace (hospital, home, birthing center) within the first few days.

I recommend booking your Fresh 48 session 2-4 months prior to your due date if possible. Your due date is then reserved on my calendar.

Honestly my answer would be both. Fresh 48 have that brand new feel-the first days of meeting your little one. 
I love in-home newborn sessions b/c they capture what home is (nursery details, the favorite couch you sit on to hold your babe for hours of the day)
