Capture the beautiful chaos of your family through an interactive session. Family sessions are ~1 hr to allow for moving around, change in scenery + variety. Candid and in-the-moment. I want to get those small details and emotions (i.e. joy, love, protection are some of my faves). I won't be focusing on "say cheese" portraits, but instead all of the special moments developing between you and your people. My sessions involve prompts/ideas and some directing, but in an interactive way.
Outdoors in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area or at your home. My fave outdoor locations (see blog) include space to roam + adventure.

I will reinforce with your family that we are here to have a good time. My sessions are based on play and interaction and most children warm-up pretty fast.
