Are you and your partner sharing a growing secret? Is that secret a little babe inside your belly? If you are expecting, there are so many fun, unique and creative ways to announce the news to your family + friends (or the whole world). If you are like me, you could spend awhile on Pinterest or Instagram searching through ideas, so instead I tried to narrow some down for ya.

You can always hire a professional maternity photographer to help capture your big announcement, or setup a self-timer for the big news. Here are my favorite creative ideas to announce your pregnancy. Oh and I definitely was going to title this “top 5”, but then came along 6 ideas that I loved.

Paint the Wall: if you are already preparing and painting a nursery, this is a fun + easy idea (or if you really love it and want to paint anyways). This is a cute idea for partners or even for the whole family.

Newspaper: read all about it! Ok so it’s kind of funny, because pretty much no one actually gets or reads newspapers anymore. Maybe that’s why this idea seems unique and fun!

Clothesline: hang onesies or baby’s outfits + ultrasound for a super sweet and unique annoucement.

Polaroids: you can never go wrong with polaroids..

Sporty: if you want to keep it simple, but want something a little different. Maybe you are more of a sporty couple instead of breaking out the maxi dress, break out the Nikes. You can also do this one with baseball caps.
